Does YMCA think Green?

Yes. Whenever we make a decision we always consider the impact it will have on the environment. We are all for reducing waste and taking care of our environment.

Here are some of our initiatives:

• Old boxes are either re-used or recycled

• Orders requiring boxes are usually shipped in used boxes to increase the use of the box before it gets recycled.

• Product packaging for shipping is kept to a minimum and is usually paper or cardboard over plastic alternatives.

• We don't buy foam beads or packaged air but will happily re-use these where possible.

Ethical Sourcing

YMCA E-Store is 100% committed to ethical procurement, and so are our local and offshore partners. 

Our uniform and products are sourced and developed by partners who do not support profiting from unauthorised labour or exploitation of any kind, and they all comply with the set Humane International Standards for manufacturing. This is achieved by regular site visits to all factories and compliance of fair labour programs, as well as ensuring all quality standards and QC responsibilities are being met. 

Our partners are ISO 9001-2008 accredited companies, and they and their manufacturers have the following credentials. Our main uniform supplier is also the only Australian promotional clothing facility to be recommended by the TCFUA.

Will I be charged Good And Services tax?

All prices are in Australian dollars and include a 10% goods and service tax (GST). Orders shipping outside of Australia do not get charged GST, so it's about 10% cheaper if you are overseas.

Will I be charged tax in my country?

Every country is different. Some charge tax or duties for orders over a certain value. It's up to you to check what happens in your country. Orders that are shipped within Australia are charged a 10% goods & services tax (GST) which is inclusive in the prices you see on our website. If you are shipping your order outside of Australia, the 10% GST will be removed from your prices.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

This all depends where you are in the world, an international order can take anything from 5 Days to 12 days for delivery. Whenever possible we will send you a tracking number for you to track your order.

Do you have a store?

At present we have YMCA Gear outlets in YMCA Centres. Please refer to our Store locator age to find your closest store. If you would like to see a product in person we are more than happy for you to visit us at our office and warehouse in Melbourne.

Is your website secure?

Yes. Your credit card details are processed securely via 128 bit SSL encryption. We use Secure pay, a trusted Australian credit card processing company to charge your card. We do not have access or store your credit card information.

Can I cancel an order? How?

Yes you can cancel your order if it has not yet shipped out. To cancel your order immediately please call us on 03 9890 8863. Our trust warehouse team process your order very quickly, so to avoid your order being shipped prior to your cancellation, we recommend that you call us ASAP.

If you order has already been shipped out, don't worry, you can still return it for a refund.

Are your stock levels correct?

Our stock levels are 99% accurate, so you can be sure that your order will go through. However, in the unlikely chance that the product you ordered is not in stock we will contact you immediately to let you know.

Do you price match other retailers?

If you find a cheaper price for an identical product before OR AFTER your purchase we'll beat it. It's that easy. We guarantee that you will always get a better deal when ordering from us.

Do you store my credit card details?

No, we do not store credit card information. In fact we don’t even get to see you credit card details. When placing an order online the Credit Card transaction is processed with Secure Pay.

Can I return items if I don't like it when I get it?

Yes, you can return anything you buy from us anytime up to 7 days from purchase. Please remember that goods being returned must be in brand new condition. See full return policy.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Visa /Mastercard If you would prefer to pay via direct deposit / Bank Transfer, please contact our office and our Customer service team will be able to help you with this.

What happens if you can't fulfil my order?

What is your return policy?

We like to make shopping at YMCA Gear simple and trouble free. We think we have one of the best return policy’s out there. You can return your purchase to YMCA Gear within 7 days from purchase for a refund, replacement or exchange. Of course there are terms and conditions. How do I return an order?

A pre-printed return form & sticky return shipping label is included with your order. To return any order simply write on the return form why you are returning the item, peel off the shipping address sticker and put it on the repackaged item. What happens if a product is faulty?

If an item arrives and it is in some way faulty we will cover all shipping expenses to provide you with a new item and to pick up the faulty item.


Can I pick up my order?

Yes. We allow pickups from our Melbourne warehouse. Please order and pay online and choose $0 Pickup.

If your order is shipped within Australia, you should receive it within 2-7 working days
